We place a huge emphasis on the safety and spiritual growth of our children. In our newly designed nursery/toddler facility, parents fill out a security tag to alert workers to allergies and special instructions for each child. Additionally, we use a paging system that allows the workers to silently contact parents during the service. Children ages 3 to 5th grade attend Kids for the King, a Sunday school program similar to vacation Bible school. Children interact with others and learn about the Bible through a fun and exciting atmosphere. They rotate to centers each week which include drama, Bible stories, crafts, art, music, games and more.
The student ministry at Heartland is called the River. All teens in grades 6 through 12 are invited to come and experience genuine friendship and learn more about the radical love of Jesus Christ. Concerts, hang-outs, civic projects, missions trips, camp, worship band and drama ministry are some of the ways students can get involved.
